Every Expat in Korea (EEIK) began in 2007 as a grassroots Facebook group founded by Craig White to help English speakers navigate life in South Korea. Today, it’s the country’s largest and longest-running expat community, with nearly 100,000 members and 400,000 visitors a month from both members and non-members, and now expanding into a curated content platform.

This site is the editorial extension of that legacy—a digital publication that dives deeper than posts or comments ever could. Here, we tell stories that matter, spotlight underrepresented voices, and offer grounded insights for foreigners living in, moving to, or engaging with Korea.
